A popular open roll shade, the Motorized FlexStyle AC adds a touch of luxury to any room. Decorative and well-designed mounting brackets conceal fasteners in 9 attractive designer colors and plated finishes. A 4-wire line voltage motor with simple push-button limits and external control adds to the ease of installation. Whether the project requires control of a few shades, a floor, or an entire building, the Motorized FlexStyle AC works for small or large residential and commercial projects. Shades can be coupled to reduce the number of motors required.

Product Specs

Accommodates a 2-¾” (70 mm) bundle diameter max and up to 8’ (244 cm) width.

Open roll shade available in single roller option and can be coupled to reduce the number of motors required.

AC motors use line voltage. Secure moisture resistant connection to line voltage using an M12 Connector.

Low voltage smart group and individual controls available, with or without preset stops.

ISO relay controls allow group control of up to 10 motors to a line voltage switch.

Simple product integration with third-party system available.

Stylish cast aluminum brackets available in 9 designer colors and plated finishes. Brushed Nickel, Brushed Gold, Antique Bronze, and Chrome come with a plated coating. Taupe, Grey, Black, White, and Warm White are painted. Or choose Primer Grey for hardware that is ready for you to paint.

Choose from a wide range of fabrics in a variety of colors, textures, and opacities to customize any room's décor.

Shades can be customized with graphics, patterns, or custom color matches, including color matching libraries such as Sherwin-Williams and Pantone.

ANSI/WCMA A100.1 Compliance

If clutch-operated roller shades are installed in an environment where it's possible that young children will be present, they should comply with ANSI/WCMA A100.1, the Standard for Safety of Window Coverings.

If the shades that you purchase need to comply with this standard, it is your responsibility to inform Draper and opt-in to receive compliant products at time of order.

Compliant window shades will include:

Pre-installed spring-loaded chain tension device with bead chain threaded through it
Approved permanent warning label attached
Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included

If the tension device is not installed properly, or becomes unattached from the mounting surface, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain. The tension device and label require tools to be removed.

Testing

The testing required by the WCMA for products to comply with safety standard A100.1 includes:

UV stability testing - AATCC Test Method 16 for UV Stability
Impact testing - ASTM D5420
Bead chain durability testing
Operation cycle testing - 3,000 cycles per the standard

Our spring loaded tension device passed the requirements of these tests.
